Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History

This master plan includes improvement of the quality of urban runoff entering Mission Creek. Van Atta Associates’ landscape utilizes a combination of permeable paving, bioswales, retention areas and interactive rainwater harvesting features to improve quality and decrease quantity of storm water runoff from the entire site, while enhancing the beauty, biological diversity and opportunities of the site.
